Zoopla claims its new app has a huge level of what it calls “user engagement” within a month of launching.
It’s hit a total of 11.9m downloads since launching in July and the portal says the rate at which traffic converts to sales and lettings enquiries about properties has risen by 36 per cent.
The number of unique views on listings pages is now reaching more than three million.
Engagement among users on the app is now “significantly higher than on any other digital channels” says the company, and the updates come at a time when more users are searching via mobile and tablet than on any other form of hardware.
As a result, the number of mobile and tablet leads which Zoopla is delivering to agents has risen by 25 per cent year on year.
“It’s fantastic to see this level of user engagement in our first month of launching this new app … The success of this app is just the beginning. Our multi-million investment into our software productivity strategy will soon start to realise more fantastic benefits for our customers” claims the portal’s chief executive Charlie Bryant.
