All eyes are on Japan for the Rugby World Cup beginning this weekend…but there’s still time for our industry to raise funds as well as cheering on our team.
Please let us know what you’re doing: we know a lot of agencies are preparing now for their Christmas fund-raising and we are more than happy to publicise your fine work.
Just contact us at press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ll do the rest.
Now, that’s the whistle gone so let’s kick off…
Principle Trust Children’s Charity: Hunters’ For Sale boards have a different look this autumn around Ilkley, Otley and Skipton in Yorkshire, because those branches are now sponsoring the Principle Trust Children’s Charity.
Every sponsored board equates to a £10 donation made direct to the Skipton based children’s charity.
Lester Hurst, franchise partner in Oakley and Otley says: “Hunters has a longstanding reputation as a business that supports local communities. With most branches being locally owned, we proactively support charities, community groups and sports teams up and down the country. Our brand values include promoting a culture that is based on ethical values and behaviours, and it’s relationships like this that make our jobs really worthwhile.”
And Skipton partner Andrew Procter adds: “Hunters has over 200 offices across the country all of which are committed to supporting the local community in which they operate. Our new relationship with The Principle Trust Children’s Charity means we can support disadvantaged children across North and West Yorkshire and bring awareness to the area about the work the charity does.”

Winchester & District Young Carers: WYC aims to improve the lives of children and young people with caring responaibilities, and the Belgarum agency says Census figures suggest 370 young carers are within the 240 square miles of the Winchester district.
The findings revealed that 10 per cent of those children were caring for over 50 hours per week
Over the rest of this year Belgarum will be working to raise funds for this great charity.
Agents Giving: The industry’s charity says that so far this year a heroic £443,139 have been raised by agencies tapping into the Agents Giving Grand Fund - that’s 80 per cent of the way through to the organisation’s all-2019 target of £500,000.
The Grant Fund exists to help towards the setup costs of any fundraising events organised by estate agents or property professionals. You can maximise your fundraising so more of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen charity - more details here.
