Chancellors Estate Agents is next month opening its newest branch in Swindon - the first time the company has operated in Wiltshire.
The new branch will handle sales, lettings, property management, commercial property, new homes and financial services, and will mean the firm now covers eight counties.
The local branch in Swindon will be supported by centralised marketing, technical and support functions; this model delivers “the best possible results” for clients, according to the firm.
Chancellors’ managing director Robert Scott-Lee (pictured above) says: “The group is well positioned to bring our services to this new market after a positive 2019. The final quarter has seen an increase in new applicant registrations and viewings and encouraging signs of an improvement in the market.”
The firm already operates in the wider region with offices in Reading, Newbury and Thatcham; the new Swindon branch will take advantage of growth in the town, which is seeing 8,000 new homes being constructed.
Scott-Lee concludes: “As an independent estate agent we have an enviable financial base on which to move our business forward. We’re still expanding and actively looking at new openings and acquisitions in strategic locations that complement our existing network.”
The Swindon branch will initially offer a zero per cent commission package to sellers.
