The ESTAS awards service and the Agents Together foundation are entering into a partnership.
That means all ESTAS customer agents will be encouraged, if they wish, to access the initiatives offered by the foundation such as its mentorship scheme, educational webinars and an upcoming Virtual Mental Health Roadshow.
Agents will be able to access these services from their ESTAS customer review dashboard, and the ESTAS will be sharing support and education material produced by Agents Together.
In addition, mentee agents will also be able to give feedback on Agents Together using the ESTAS review service.
Agents Together is a charity operating with some £1m funding provided directly by Michael and Kenny Bruce, founders of Purplebricks some years ago and now the soon-to-launch portal Boomin. The charity’s chief executive is Sarah Edmundson, formerly an estate agent and now of the Agency AllStars training body.
The foundation says its mission is to help the agency industry “steer its way through the unique challenges of today and to take full advantage of the opportunities for the future, that will create and preserve a healthier, well run and respected industry.”
A priority for the charity is the mental well-being of agents; ESTAS already has a relationship with a charity called the Mindstep Foundation, which undertakes mental health research and support.
ESTAS Group founder Simon Brown says: “We understand mental health is a huge issue which is why we have already committed to raising awareness through the Mindstep Foundation. Young people in particular are affected so when Sarah approached us to get involved with Agents Together the synergy was obvious.
“Sarah’s enthusiasm and energy is infectious and we are really proud to help the foundation in its work which is so important in the current business climate.”
