Fine & Country Foundation: The foundation announced that it has reached the milestone of raising over half a million pounds in funds, supporting the work of 78 non-profit organisations, all fighting causes of homelessness and poverty around the world.
With the support of Fine & Country’s global network and the countless number of people who have made donations, the organisation has met its major target of raising over £500,000 for deserving charities.
Since its inception, the foundation has partnered with various charities through its grant programme to provide vital supplies during crises, rebuild a village devastated by earthquakes in Nepal, and support life-changing programmes to get rough-sleepers off the streets.
Jon Cooke, Global Chief Executive of Fine & Country, says: “We are delighted to have been able to reach this milestone and are excited to continue to help those in need. The foundation has given our network a platform to be able to give back and make a difference and it has touched so many lives in the process.
“Through the support of the network, the Fine & Country Foundation has been able to give away hundreds of thousands of pounds to help both the homelessness and those in poverty. The money donated has been invaluable to charities that have received a grant from the foundation and has had a positive impact in many people’s lives.”
Founded in 2014, the Foundation was initially established to help combat homelessness, however, this year the organisation made the decision to broaden its mission to also fighting the causes of poverty, recognising there are pressing issues other than housing for many people, including a lack of education, clothing, food and other basic supplies.
Reaching the half-million mark in donations is the organisation’s biggest milestone yet and the Fine & Country Foundation says it’s already looking ahead to its next goal of raising one million pounds.
