As competition hots up between affinity groups and associations in the industry, the Guild of Property Professionals has come out fighting.
It says it has been able to use its size and influence to negotiate deals with service providers and bring a wide variety of products into their offering to the Guild’s 800 members “for a portion of what they would have paid on their own.”
Chief executive Iain McKenzie says: “We know that if we had to tally up the cost of each individual product offered by The Guild, such as the proptech services and revenue generating tools, on average an estate agency would pay in the region of £2,774 a month.”
He adds: “However, if an estate agent becomes a member of The Guild they will get those products and services for a monthly fee of £495, saving them around £2,279 a month and £27,348 over the a year. This means that our members can provide an exceptionally high number of marketing services and products to their clients for a fraction of the cost that a non-member could.”
He says that during this year The Guild will be introducing more products to offer to members.
These will be revealed at next week’s conference of The Guild in London.
“The addition of further services makes the offering that much more cost effective. We are continuously looking for ways to increase the value that we provide to our membership and help them to increase revenue, save costs and remain compliant,” McKenzie concludes.

The Guild represents great value for money. Been a member from the beginning. It just keeps getting stronger and stronger. "Always choose a Guild Agent "
Buying clubs are a great idea, far more agents not in the guild and maybe not part of any club, should consider setting up their own - then negotiating greater discounts.
