You wouldn’t expect anything other than very upscale home offices from an esteemed agency with a wonderful history - and that’s what we’ve got.
The images here are of the home offices of William Furniss, a partner at Beaconsfield and Ed Cunningham, a Country Department partner (in an office he shares with his daughter working on her dissertation).
There’s also Emma Marshall, an associate in Knight Frank’s Edinburgh City Centre branch (with her daughter as her new assistant!); James Denne, the office head at Melrose; and James Stewart-Lockhart in our Edinburgh office.
Thanks so much to all of them, and to William for this tip: “Routine – start and end the day at the same time as in the office. Plan and structure the day into bite size pieces, varying the focus and tasks to avoid monotony. Talk to colleagues frequently to keep everyone’s spirits high. Take coffee, comfort and lunch breaks ideally at the same sort of time as if you were with your team. For me it’s made a difference dressing for work as I would normally and then dressing down at the end of the day, clearly defining work and relaxation time.”
** Over Easter we have a selection of images and top tips from agents on how they’re coping with working from home. We have different stories across Estate Agent Today and Letting Agent Today, so do please check out both sites. Thanks - and stay safe… **
