A mystery group, believed to consist of high-level former agents and suppliers, is asking the industry for its feedback on current challenges and well-being issues.
The industry is being asked for its views on current financial, skills and well-being challenges for agents in the light of the Coronavirus.
A group of agents, industry suppliers and business leaders from outside the industry - all currently wanting to remain anonymous - have set a 12 point questionnaire, and have asked trade publications such as Estate Agent Today to publicise the call.
“From financial pressures, heightened stress and anxiety, to adapting to new ways of working, uncertainty about the future, innovation and career development, Covid 19 has created challenges that the industry has never faced before” says the group.
“At this critical time, a check of how optimistic we do or don’t feel, and clarity on what support will be most useful, will help to inspire a new industry-wide offering that aims to provide a different type of support as we navigate these challenging times and look towards the future” it continues.
Some of the questions look at the nitty gritty of agency in the current climate, asking about how the industry might cope with the likes of social distancing and building a pipeline in what may be a difficult wider economy.
Other questions are more unusual, covering topics such as the mental wellbeing of agents and whether the industry would take advantage of free-to-use mentoring and training.
The survey is completely anonymous and you can see the survey here.
