It’s been revealed that the home moving advice service set up by Phil Spencer is entering a collaboration with awards and reviews service The ESTAS.
Spencer - a monthly contributor to Estate Agent Today - set up the Move iQ service two years ago as a platform to share his knowledge and experience with the consumer.
It has evolved to encompass its own YouTube channel and podcast, and makes a series of online tools available to support consumers’ decision making. The service initially provided advice for homebuyers and renters but now includes sellers, existing homeowners and landlords.
A statement from The ESTAS says: “The collaboration will help ESTAS agents by directing consumers to Move iQ via the ESTAS new homepage integration which enables agents to stream their reviews live to their websites. Agents will also benefit from being able to instantly present consumers with trusted home moving advice directly from their own websites.”
Amanda Harvey, managing director of Move iQ, says: “Move iQ is excited to be working with ESTAS and making consumers aware of what it means to have agents to have ESTAS reviews. It’s important to recognise those delivering great service, and this is the role of the consumer - to recognise and promote industry best practice.”
Ben Marley, who recently became ESTAS Group sales director after working at reviews service Feefo, adds: “This relationship builds on the brand synergy we all already enjoy with Phil Spencer. As the market begins to recover ESTAS agents can help consumers make the right decision when choosing an agent where trusted customer reviews play a vital role.”
Spencer has personally been linked with The ESTAS since 2004, when he became brand ambassador and master of ceremonies at the annual awards events.
ESTAS say that their strict verification process which includes a digital and human audit ensures reviews are genuine and can be trusted by customers.
Yesterday we reported that The ESTAS annual agents’ award ceremony, due to have taken place this month, will now be a virtual event in early July.
