The Property Franchise Group - parent company of six agency brands including EweMove and Martin & Co - says all of its franchisees have now resumed sales and lettings.
In a trading statement the group says all franchisees are of course operating within government guidelines on social distancing and physical viewings.
“Franchisees have adapted well to the change in the operating model, embracing the use of technology to support continued customer service” says the group, which also includes the Whitegates, CJ Hole, Parkers and Ellis & Co brands.
“The earlier easing of restrictions than expected in the UK housing market, allowing renters and buyers to transact more freely, was very welcome” adds the statement.
The group's property management activity, which accounts for almost half of all its management service fee income, has continued throughout the last three months with some new lettings activity completed utilising virtual viewings.
TPFG’s AGM, scheduled for later this month, will take place virtually - Countrywide and other quoted agency groups have adopted similar strategies to continue City compliance during the Coronavirus crisis.
