Agent aged 27 sets up his own High Street operation

A 27 year old agent with a background working in London’s Canary Wharf has headed north to set up his own agency - and it’s a High Street operation, not online.

Adam Sutton has opened his agency in his home city of Liverpool, with a target of modernising the sector in the Merseyside region.

In a launch statement, Sutton says he “sold millions of pounds worth of property to some of the biggest names in show-business and sport” when he worked in the capital.  

“Real estate is in my blood. I grew up around it and then spent a number of years learning the trade in London. It has always been my ambition to open my own estate agency and I am delighted to be doing it in my home city. 

“We are the first estate agency to open in the Baltic area and we are the only residential sales office in Liverpool. We don't do lettings, we just focus our time and energy into the clients that want to sell and buy.

“We are not your typical estate agency and we are intending to modernise the real estate sector. For a start, we will be using more digital technology to showcase homes to would-be buyers by doing professional video tours free of charge for every property listed. We are already offering virtual valuations, virtual reality on new builds and we have introduced virtual viewings given the impact of the current pandemic on the sector. 

“Social media will be playing a huge role in how we sell houses. We’ve been open for one week and already we’ve sold a property via Instagram. The real estate sector needs to embrace the digital age. A major focus for us will be on digital marketing and so our clients properties stand out from the crowd in a very competitive market. We are a new generation estate agency.”
