A former agency director and owner with three decades of experience in the industry has set up a coaching and training consultancy.
Andrew Gilchrist has been a partner in his own business, and between 2012 and 2020 worked for LSL Property Services as managing director for brands including Frost’s, Lawlors and Intercounty shaping the strategy, marketing and employee proposition.
Gilchrist, a fellow of the NAEA, is also a member of the Association for Coaching and the holder of two masters degrees from Henley Business School.
In founding his consultancy - called the Business of Estate Agency - he says his mission is to help clients achieve sustainable performance improvements in their business “by focusing on the power of developing people and processes.”
He says: “I understand the challenges and the pressures we face - increasing competition, increasing customer expectation, lots of change and uncertainty, downward pressure on fees, and high staff turnover.”
Gilchrist says “people plus processes equal performance” and these factors can achieve even more than technology or marketing alone.
