A PropTech chief says agents are now competing with each other for substantially less stock on the market - meaning their prospecting work needs to be more effective.
Heather Staff, co-founder of street.co.uk and canvassing automation platform Spectre, says there are now 16 per cent fewer homes on the market than prior to the pandemic.
Yet there are roughly the same number of agents. Inevitably this means tougher competition.

Staff, in a video interview with Angels Media sales director Lee Dahill, reveals key statistics which show how persistent and targeted prospecting can pay dividends.
She says making the most effective technology takes administrative chores from agents and allows them to focus on essential work that needs maximum human agent input - such as prospecting.
