We doff our caps to the brilliant folk at Haslams agency in Reading for their extremely attractive and clever Christmas decorations this year.
The agency has partnered with Reading Foundation for Art and Reading Museum for its Oh Beautiful World! exhibition, which commemorates the legacy of Oscar Wilde in Reading.
The Ballad of reading Gaol is perhaps Wilde’s best known work, written after his release from the prison in 1897 - he had been incarcerated there, serving two years’ hard labour, after being convicted of gross indecency with other men.
