An independent agency has announced the opening of another office in what it calls a vote of confidence for the local housing market.
Gloucestershire firm Move has opened its new office in central Cheltenham, to add to the Gloucester branch opened in 2018.
George Tatham-Losh, who founded the agency in 2013, says: “When we first launched, we promised to offer a new and fresh approach to property sales and lettings and it is this approach combined with investment in technology and hand picking what we consider to be the best property professionals in the area that has seen us prosper”.
He adds: “During the pandemic there are people that have still needed the service of a good agent, for whatever reason. Unfortunately, some agents appear to have taken a back seat. Where we think that at this difficult time our clients have needed that little bit extra, and we have simply buckled down and given them that.
“I have been overwhelmed at the great feedback we have received, and that is what has driven the growth of the business. I tell my staff to think of every client as if they were family and ask how they would want that family member treated. It is all about results combined with excellent service.”
Tatham-Losh forecasts the local market, post-pandemic, will see a key change in the shape of more people working from home.
And he says he intends to expand his business further in the future.

Fabulous! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer firm that’s really making waves in my home town of Cheltenham. Does what they say on the tin - with realism and sincerity. George and his team have been clients of mine for several years and I’m proud to have played my small part in their journey. Going from strength to strength. CONGRATS!
