OnTheMarket’s annual general meeting date has been set for later this month - and it’s likely to be virtual despite expected changes to Covid guidelines.
A statement from the firm says: “Under current expectations for the relaxation of restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendance in person at the AGM is expected to be legally permissible. However, safety is of paramount importance to the Company and shareholders are therefore encouraged not to attend the AGM in person and to vote by proxy.”
It continues: “Should the Company's AGM procedures change, particularly from any change in Government guidance, the Company will accordingly issue a further public announcement in the earliest instance.”
The portal says shareholders insisting on being present in person should contact the company as soon as possible to allow safety assessments to be made.
The meeting is scheduled for 10am at 2-6 Boundary Row, London SE1 8HP on July 27.
