An estate agency which at one time hoped to be operating nationwide this year has now revised its target.
Hortons says it operates like Purplebricks in terms of no High Street offices but having local property professionals in different areas.
Founder Adam Horton told The Business Desk website in 2018: “Our goal is to have full national coverage by 2021, and to be the agent of choice for sellers who want to be represented by accomplished, highly skilled estate agents.”
However, in a statement issued this week Horton states: “Our aim is to become a national agency within the next five years.”
The agency says it’s enjoyed a record-breaking quarter, completing 283 transactions worth over £82m, and is on track to reach £3m in revenue this year.
Horton says: “We’re delighted with our quarterly result, and the position it puts us in for the year.
“Our success is a result of our growing team of experienced agents and expansion into new territories. Over the coming years, we’re planning to increase the rate of growth,”
The agency is in its fourth year of trading and currently operates 19 territories in the East Midlands. It has recently opened in Leamington Spa, and is due to launch in Banbury next month.
