A Midlands property firm has quit its city centre premises after 25 years and says the pandemic has proved it can operate from “pretty much anywhere.”
Andrew Granger & Co has been located in the centre of Leicester since the 1990s but has now moved to two offices outside the city.
“We’re sad to be leaving the city centre after 25 years but this decision was driven by our clients and their needs” explains director Andrew Robinson.
The location of the two new premises - Stoughton Grange - is “right in the heartland of the county we work across and will also enable easy access with onsite parking along with other facilities in the development” he adds.
“Our move has already been well received by our contacts across the different areas of the business, and advances in technology mean we can be accessible in so many more ways these days.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed worked in such a cosmopolitan city for so long, but nothing stands still, and we are forging ahead in an agile and customer-focussed way.”
The company says that as a result of the pandemic its offices can be based “pretty much anywhere.”
Fellow director Mark Sandall states: “The city centre has served us well, but the time was right for us to re-locate to premises that were more easily accessible for when our clients do want to visit us in person – which we’re doing by appointment-only for the time being - and utilise the other facilities on site.
“We’re very much looking forward to working with clients old and new, and for what the next 25 years has in store for us at our new offices.”
The firm continues to offer residential sales and lettings, commercial sales and lettings, and professional services including property surveys, project management and estate management.
It also has offices in Loughborough and Market Harborough.
