Two former Local Property Experts at Purplebricks have set up their own hybrid agency, offering an upfront fee or a no-sale-no-fee option.
Pete Dykes and Nikki Nieroda-Edwards have spent much of their agency life at the same company - they were in the same branch of Countrywide agency Beresford Adams before individually joining Purplebricks.
Their new company - Enfys Estates - is based in an industrial park in Conwy and according to an interview in the local press the couple will offer what they consider the best of High Street and hybrid operations.
Their upfront fee is £749 plus VAT and their no-sale-no-fee charge is a minimum of £1,299 plus VAT.
Established during lockdown - “a time of reflection and change” say the pair - the company will cover from Penmaenmawr to Prestatyn.
Nieroda-Edwards has told the North Wales Pioneer newspaper: “When we first started working together nearly seven years ago we spoke about having our own estate agency but it was such a huge dream, we never imagined we could actually do it.
“It means so much and it still doesn’t actually feel real. Although it’s been very hard work, we have enjoyed every second – the excitement for it all has taken over.”
The agency’s name, Enfys, is Welsh for Rainbow, a symbol that gained popularity during the early months of the pandemic.
“Having been created during lockdown and being inspired by all those wonderful people that have helped us through it, this is a very small tribute to them. It is a way we wanted to help others during these stressful times” she says.
