A PropTech entrepreneur is advising agents not to settle for simply having their websites up and running, and instead using CRM and other software to generate more business.
Anton Babkov, chief executive of Rex, says websites can be optimised in various ways to generate more leads. Marketing tools, apps combined with websites, and analytics that simplify how the website is functioning are all easily accessible.
“Customer relationship management systems act as an assistant that gives you all the data about your website. This data is extremely valuable because it will help you make the most of your website. Using a CRM will help you pinpoint where exactly the leads are from and save you time” he claims.
Rex Software - which includes Spicerhaart amongst its UK agency clients - believes that understanding how to track or measure the traffic that comes from the website will add value to an agency business by generating leads. Mobile apps that integrate with websites and provide analytics that can be interpreted and help steer the business in the right direction are one potential solution.
Many also recognise paid campaigns as a successful way of increasing traffic. Adverts on popular social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram, and display adverts on Google Display Network, are all drivers of paid traffic.
Babkov says ensuring estate agent websites are simple to navigate, searchable and the important information can be accessed quickly are all necessary to generate leads.
“An overload of information, such as too many tasks to do at once, can also lower attention spans. Just one engaging call to action that lets you follow-up is quick and more likely to keep them engaged.”
