A soap star has swapped scripts for property sales.
Actor Marc Silcock was involved in one of ITV soap Emmerdale’s biggest storylines, playing Aaron Dingle’s boyfriend Jackson Walsh.
His character was paralysed after his van crashed onto a railway line back in 2010 and was hit by a train, later ending his own life and nearly landing his boyfriend in prison for murder.
He was nominated for most popular newcomer at the National Television Awards at the time but has since left acting to become an estate agent.
The Sun newspaper has revealed that he has been working for Kamani Property Group in Manchester since 2016, which also employs another former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas.
The company’s website says: "Adam is one of our property executives, he sources new potential acquisitions and assists with the management of both the residential and commercial sides of our portfolio.
"He regularly meets with contractors, potential tenants and suppliers, as well as appearing in the occasional promotional video.”
