Rightmove is running a series of webinars this month focused on legislation affecting agents.
Tomorrow the former ARLA Propertymark supreme David Cox will be discussing the English Housing Survey report, alongside other news and regulations affecting agents this month.
This will be followed by a legal and compliance update for Wales on February 9 led by property law expert David Smith, with a particular focus on major changes in the lettings sector in Wales.
Then on February 10 Daryl Mcintosh, policy manager at Propertymark, will provide an update on the housing sector in Scotland, including the recently issued drafts by the Scottish government on their proposed Rented Sector reforms.
Then next week, on February 16, Malcolm Driscoll - Lead Anti-Money Laundering Consultant at FCS Compliance - will be returning to discuss Anti Money Laundering.
He will discuss the role and responsibilities of an estate agencies’ nominated Money Laundering Reporting Officer, including understanding the risks and what do if they are away.
This follows December’s HMRC Inspection webinar, which Rightmove says attracted a high attendance from agents who commented on the clear and direct information shared.
