Guy Gittins confirmed as new Foxtons boss

Foxtons has confirmed the appointment of former Chestertons boss Guy Gittins as its new chief executive.

Gittins will step into the role from 5 September.

A stockmarket update from Foxtons this morning revealed that Nic Budden, who had been the London agent’s chief executive since 2014, has stepped down immediately.

Peter Rollings, currently a non-executive director and former managing director of Foxtons, will act as interim chief executive with immediate effect until Gittins takes up his appointment.

Gittins started his early career at Foxtons, leaving in 2007 to become sales and marketing director for Peter de Savary. 

He later joined Savills in May 2010 before moving to Chestertons in 2012.
