Agents are being given the chance to learn how to improve their anti-money laundering (AML) processes from a veteran police investigator.
Rightmove is hosting an AML webinar next Tuesday 19 July with experts FCS Compliance titled Customer Due Diligence (CDD): How to Meet HMRC Expectations.
The hour-long session begins at 10am and will be presented by Malcolm Driscoll, lead AML consultant at FCS Compliance who spent over 40 years in the police where he investigated serious and complex fraud and money laundering.
It is free for agents signed up to Rightmove.
The session will cover:
• Effective CDD
• Unpicking the multiple layers of CDD
• Corporate structures and how to identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners
• New sanctions and how they impact the CDD processes and client relationships
• Embedding a compliance culture within an office
