Zoopla has launched a Progression Portal for agents, promising real-time updates for 15 key milestones during the sales transaction process.
Agents can also earn up to £500 per transaction when they refer buyers and viewers to Zoopla’s mortgage broker partner Mojo or the conveyancer network within the portal.
Built by the brains behind proptech firm Yourkeys, the tool will let agents track milestones such as when a mortgage offer is issued and legal completion.
Zoopla has also partnered with broker Mojo Mortgages to offer referrals of up to £400 to agents who refer a buyer or property viewer.
In addition to this, agents can also earn referral revenue of £100 by referring a buyer or viewer to the Progression Portal’s network of conveyancers.
Agents can refer conveyancers at the point of instruction and provide accurate information upfront using the portal.
Zoopla’s new homes version of the portal launched 15 months ago and has driven a reduction in cancellations of 24% and reduced the time to exchange by 37%, the property website said in a statement.
Agents will have to pay a flat rate subscription per branch each month plus an additional monthly license fee per user but will need to speak directly with Zoopla for specific costs.
Andy Marshall, chief commercial officer at Zoopla said:” With the lack of supply continuing to be an ongoing challenge for estate agents.
“This new innovation will support our customers by not only freeing up time for them to focus on new business - but also giving them the opportunity to generate more revenue for their business.
“The new homes version of the portal has delivered brilliant results for our housebuilders and we’re looking forward to doing the same for our estate agent customers.”
Agents interested in joining the Progression Portal can sign up for a beta version.
