Property data and estate agent prospecting platform, Homesearch has unveiled a new property search engine that it hopes will transform the volume of instructions and revenue for agency firms.
Rather than relying on what an agent has listed on the portals, the product lets a buyer search for off-market properties in a desired area based on a range of features such as number of bedrooms and size.
Based on the search results, the agent can then send marketing materials to the relevant homeowners to see if they would be interested in selling.
Every estate agent using the tool will be able to offer its own clients a fully white-labelled, property search engine that it said will show them 100 times more options than portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
Agents will be able to market the tool with their own branding and URL as an extra service.
It costs £295 per month for an agent to use the service.
Giles Ellwood, chief executive of Homesearch, said: “Every seller and landlord start as a buyer. By focusing on that early part of their journey, agents will start relationships, win instructions and ward off competition earlier.
“We’re extremely excited to be the first to develop and launch a whole-market property search engine that will truly revolutionise the industry.
“Every estate agent in the country is confronted by potential buyers and sellers who hold off coming to market because they are frustrated by the small fraction of properties available on portals. Sellers won’t sell because they believe they won’t be able to buy, whilst many buyers have given up all hope of ever finding their dream home in the current climate.
“This is the biggest challenge currently facing the housing market and we’ve developed a proptech solution that not only addresses the problem but transforms the way a property is prospected, bought and sold, with agents right at the heart of it.
“Modern estate agency is all about adding value to your clients and distancing yourself from the competition by solving the real problems faced by all your clients, earlier in your process.
“Being able to offer your buyers and sellers the entire market, rather than just the 1% of it on Rightmove or Zoopla, is why we see this new product launch as truly disruptive. All with the core aim of unlocking increased instructions and revenue for agents – the very reason Homesearch exists.”

£295? Seriously?
We have been doing all this on Mouseprice Pro for years for less than 30 quid a month!
Hi Steve, thank you for the comment.
I know Mouseprice Pro really well and can say that what we've just launched is very different. I'd be happy to show you personally any time if you'd like to see for yourself.
Have a great day,
Sam
