OnTheMarket names new chief financial officer

OnTheMarket (OTM) has named the replacements for its outgoing chief financial officer (CFO) Clive Beattie.

Beattie, who has worked for the portal and property platform brand since 2017, is set to join nurtur.group as CFO next week.

OTM announced yesterday that Tom Carter will join as CFO from AIM-listed beauty company Brand Architekts Group once he completes his notice period.

Carter was also group finance and operations director at Technetix Grou, a global technology company and has also held financial roles at Alliance Boots, BSkyB Plc and Procter and Gamble. 

Until he joins, OTM has appointed Simon Bullock as interim CFO with immediate effect to provide the finance function with experienced leadership between Beattie's departure on 27 January and Carter  joining the board. 

Bullock has 30 years of finance experience, with more than 20 years at CFO level, including at Caxton FX Limited, AIM-listed Bonhill Group Plc, Merit Group Plc and Aurasian Minerals Plc. He will not join the board of OnTheMarket.

Carter said: “OnTheMarket is widely recognised as a leader in the industry, and this is an exciting time to be joining the business. I look forward to working with Jason and the team to further differentiate the proposition and build a ‘one-stop-shop’ for agents and housebuilders across the entire property ecosystem."

Investors appeared to back the appointments and OTM's share price rose 2% during trading yesterday.
