Lee Rowley has returned as housing minister.
The reappointment comes after Rachel Maclean was sacked this morning and follows reports that the Government was struggling to fill the role amid anger from Housing Secretary Michael Gove.
Rowley, who previously worked as an estate agent, was briefly housing minister under the Liz Truss premiership.
He was appointed in September 2022 but was in the post for just 49 days, later moving to Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
