Proptech firm iamproperty is hoping for more acquisitions this year as it plans to create a central ‘eco-system’ where agents can access all its services including its iamsold auction service and the movebutler sales progression platform.
Acquisitions last year included the purchase of property software business VTUK as well as the takeover of SDL Auctions' portfolio of estate agency partners.
Ben Ridgway, managing director of iamproperty, said the brand now has more than 5,000 partner agent branches and will see its staff headcount hit 500 in April.
He said the brand has loads of ideas on how to improve VTUK and said the acquisition of SDL’s agent portfolio has gone “really well.”
He told Estate Agent Today: “We will hopefully have more acquisitions to come in 2023 where it is strategically viable and makes sense.
“We have completed a strategic review of areas we are interested in and have some names on a page, we are in active conversations with several businesses.”
Agents can also expect new releases over the next 18 to 24 months that will make it easier to access iamproperty’s services from “one seamless platform.”
Neil Hope, chief technology officer at iamproperty, said: “We are now in CRM, compliance, conveyancing, surveys and auctions.
“Bringing them all together in one central ecosystem that improves workflow for the agents makes sense."
