Pattinson Auction goes international

Pattinson Auction has gone international by opening up in Spain.

After growing its UK portfolio to almost 3,000 partner agents, it will officially launch at a special event on the continent on 5 April at the Don Pepe Hotel, Marbella, Spain.

Estate agents in Spain can now benefit from having their very own auction facility offering their clients a 0% sales fee.

UK residents who own properties in Spain can also benefit from a secure sale option through its British auction service, while agents can offer clients a more substantial service in both countries.

Auction director Justin Beckwith said: “We initially came up with the idea of expanding into Spain as a result of multiple requests from buyers and sellers, asking us if we sell property in Spain, or if we have any properties available to buy in Spain. 

“We are also aware that property transactions can be quite clunky, and with the added benefit of transparency, speed, and readily available legal information that can be provided for auction sales, we would be able to provide a much more streamlined and efficient way of transacting.”

Cristian Ortas, the new business development manager operating in Spain, added: “I have been selling property in Spain for many years and the property business is my absolute passion.
