National Conveyancing Week has kicked off from today.
The awareness-raising week features a series of in-person, online and pre-recorded events aimed at conveyancers and other property professionals including estate agents.
One event that may interest agents is an upfront information roadshow.
The Home Buying & Selling Group (HBSG) Upfront Information Roadshow - being held as part of National Conveyancing Week - is taking place on 10am 21 March at 8 Northumberland Avenue, Trafalgar Square in London.
Chaired by Rob Hailstone of Bold Legal Group (BLG), the event is designed to explain which prescribed documents would need to be reviewed to identify the anticipated material information, which must be provided when marketing a property for sale.
It will also debate how local property networks can work together to do this efficiently.
The event will include a presentation by the Conveyancing Association’s director of delivery Beth Rudolf who will look at why upfront information provision is such a big issue for the property market, what’s in it for all stakeholders, what is covered, the busting of certain myths, the importance of technology in delivering this, and who can help firms implement it.
The event is open to all stakeholders including conveyancers, estate agents, mortgage advisers, lenders, surveyors, valuers and all those interested.

Industry charity the Conveyancing Foundation is also showing its support with a #sharethelove campaign as part of its Be Kind We Care initiative.
The initiative aims to highlight the benefits that being grateful and kind can have on yourself and those around you.
National Conveyancing Week takes place between 20 and 24 March 2023.
