Keller Williams ‘realigning market centre leadership’

Keller Williams (KW) UK has shifted around responsibility for its market centres amid speculation of closures.

The self-employed agency brand’s Aspire market centre in Weybridge is now being run by its Prime leadership team based in Mayfair rather than the Oxygen office in Maidenhead that had been in charge in recent years.

Ben Taylor, KWUK chief executive, told Estate Agent Today that the brand was just finding a better way of running its market centres and felt the Aspire centre would be better served by the “strong Prime leadership.”

He said in a statement that this was “simply a realignment of leadership resources in supporting the KW Aspire agents,” adding that agents have been utilising ots Maidenhead and London centres for some time.

Taylor added that KW Exeter is now “collaborating” with KW Plus, rejecting rumours that the centres have merged.

The statement said: “Existing KW Exeter agents are benefitting from access to the extensive and well-established KW Plus training calendar in addition to that provided by the Exeter leadership team who are very much in place, actively supporting their agents day to day whilst working hard on growing their agent community over the coming period.”

The statement said KW has 12 centres across the UK, with 436 associates including team members and leadership, of which 337 are independent business owners, either solo agents or lead team members.

More than 65 agents have joined KWUK so far in 2023, the statement said.
