Agency network launches exclusive training sessions

Members of the Federation of Independent Agents (FIA) are to be given free access to an exclusive quarterly online masterclass session on modern lead-generation techniques.

It is hosted by ex-Homesearch head of training and development Simon Gates.

FIA founder Graham Lock said: “Our members are modern in their approach to estate agency and they like to learn new techniques and skills that can set them apart, Simon is the perfect person to deliver this.

“Every quarter our members and their teams will gain access to a range of new skills that will be a valuable asset and keep them out in front of the competition.”

His consultancy Opening The Gates launched just a few weeks ago and has already signed up dozens of clients.

Gates said: “It’s been a whirlwind start to my consultancy career and I’ve been blown away by the response so far. 

“When I got the call from Graham to join forces with the FIA network it really was a great moment for me. 

“I recognise the standards that the FIA members adhere to and how difficult it can be to gain membership but that’s what excites me the most and I look forward to working with such high calibre independents.”

The partnership will kick off on 21 June.

Lock added: “Estate agency is seen by some as slow-moving and change resistant, it’s actually quite the opposite. 

“To survive in the modern era of fast-moving technology agents must learn new skills or risk being left behind, this partnership again shows that The FIA is always looking forwards to ensure our members have everything they need to continue to be the leaders in their exclusive areas.”
