Agent marks 25-year milestone

Independent agency brand Pat Robson & Co is celebrating 25 years of residential sales, lettings and property management.

Tim Nixon launched the Newcastle-upon-Tyne-based brand with Pat Robson in 1998 in what he describes as the “analogue era.”

Nixon said:  “There was no digital advertising, no Rightmove, no Zoopla and no Google reviews. We relied very heavily on personal recommendation and word-of-mouth so we had to do a really good job.

“We spent our early years forging exclusive agency agreements with a number of blue-chip organisations and regional and national employers, in order that we could provide our landlord clients with the best possible corporate tenants.

“A quarter of a century on, we remain very much the go-to agency in the city for administrating corporate and company lets.

The brand has also developed a student letting department and a sales operation specialising in family homes and high-yielding residential investment stock. 

Nixon added: “During recent years we have engaged in a number of successful merges and acquisitions, with the successful amalgamation into Pat Robson & Company of Bellwood Associates, Charles Lamb Residential Lettings and most recently Ashburton Lettings, resulting in a managed portfolio of almost 1000 properties across the city. 

“As Pat Robson & Company look forward to another 25 years in business, I would like to personally thank each and every one of our clients both past and present and also express my thanks to our dynamic senior management team, and to our dedicated and hardworking property management, letting and sales teams.”
 

To mark the milestone, the brand is offering a reduced fee for landlords.

It is offering 50% plus VAT of a month’s rent as a tenant find fee with a minimum fee of £450 plus VAT. 

This offer can also be used in conjunction with 6 months free management. The offer expires on 31 August 2023 and apply to any tenancies secured within this period. 
The fee will then revert to 75% plus VAT with a minimum fee of £450 plus VAT.
