Former TPFG training lead takes on two branches

Martin & Co’s Sheffield and Worksop branches are under new ownership, with former The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) training expert Dean Gill taking the reins.

Gill has taken over from previous owner David Jacques, having worked in the businesses during an 18-month transition period as operations director.

Previously, he spent eight years as head of TPFG’s training academy – providing training design and delivery for more than 350 offices and 2,000 staff across the group’s five high street brands.

Both the Sheffield and Worksop branches have seen their premises and all existing staff retained as part of the resale process.

Gill said: “It’s been an action packed few weeks but I’m proud and delighted to be taking the Sheffield and Worksop offices forward into the future.

“There was always a good bond between David and I when I was part of TPFG’s team, and we stayed in touch.

“He asked how I’d feel about coming on board with a view to taking on the business, as he was keen to step back, and I jumped at the chance.

“Both offices have fantastic teams, David has been a brilliant support and mentor and I’m excited for the future.”

Martin & Co managing director Ellie Hall added: “Dean was an instrumental part of The Property Franchise Group for many years and is an inspirational trainer, coach, and leader.

“Martin & Co’s teams in Sheffield and Worksop will now benefit from Dean’s expertise and I’m excited to see him develop the businesses even further and build on the successes of David.”
