The founder of Yorkshire-based developer Gregory Property Group has passed away.
The Gregory Property Group announced yesterday that its chairman and founder Barry Gregory passed away on 6 July at the age of 82.
He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a short illness.
A statement from the regional firm said he is remembered for his profound commitment to the property industry to which he dedicated more than 60 years.
It said: “Barry was also a great friend and mentor to many of his industry peers. He was highly respected for his expertise but also his sincerity, integrity and kindness.
“In line with the wishes of Barry, after a period of mourning, Gregory Property Group continues to operate as usual under the skilful leadership of John McGhee with Trevor Gurney, Philip Lees, Nick Gillott, Tracy Sormus and Anne-Marie Wisson.”
