Agents have backed shining a light on pressure selling tactics within the industry.
Speaking on the latest Agents MVMT Pass The Syrup Podcast, Neil Baldock of Charles David Casson, said people accept bad practice in agency as they just want the house they have fallen in love with and there is often no alternative.
He said the industry needs to get a grip on issues such as pressure selling.

It comes after Connells launched an internal investigation follow the release of an email from one of its branches in Birmingham suggested an offer would only be put forward if they buyer used its in-house mortgage services.
Fellow podcast guest Sharon Kaur of Golden Acre Estates also highlighted other poor practises such as agents requiring buyers to list with them to be able to submit an offer on a property.
She said: “It is outrageous that these things still happen.
“It is great that these things are in the press as otherwise it goes under the radar.
“It needs to be talked about and highlighted so agents understand that it needs to stop.”
