Agents should take work safety more seriously, particularly self-employed agents, an industry podcast claims.
The latest Agents MVMT Pass The Syrup podcast addresses the issue of how to protect agents at work.
Charly Saunders of Willian H Brown, said women in particular are aware of the need to keep safe and highlighted the use of safe phrases and words to alert colleagues to trouble, suggesting corporate offices are better set up with safety policies.

Other tips included agents sharing locations and calendars so there is a record of where staff are.
Perry Power of Power Bespoke suggested the rise of self-employed models is making personal safety more important.
He said: “You can almost stalk the hell out of someone in the self-employed agency model.
“With traditional agency, you may not know who is coming for a viewing, with self employed, you know who is coming through your door.”
