Agents Do Charity - get your coat!

A variety of charities have received support from the property industry over the past week.

Agents Giving: The Agents Giving Winter Warmth campaign has been an outstanding success in the past few months, the industry charity has said.

Thousands of warm coats and items have been donated by agents to many people experiencing homelessness across the UK this winter.

Agents Giving once again partnered with Only a Pavement Away and encouraged the property industry to collect and distribute warm clothes such as coats, jumpers, as well as personal hygiene products to help rough sleepers on the street at the height of the winter months. These items were donated in local towns and communities and onto charities, hostels, and homeless shelters.

David Newnes, chairman of Agents Giving, said: “The support you have shown by donating your warm winter coats has been amazing to help those vulnerable people on the streets this winter – all your donations have really made a big difference to the hundreds of charities who have directly received your help.”

Webbers: Estate agency brand and Guild of Property Professionals’ member Webbers is marking 100 years in business with a year-long promotion called the '1924 draw.’

Vendors and fully managed landlords will be entered into monthly draw to win £1924. The agency has also chosen Young Lives versus Cancer as its national charity and encouraged each office to support a local charity, reinforcing their commitment to community involvement.
