LSL non-executive chairman David Barral has left the estate agency and property brand’s board after just 11 months in the role.
Barral had been appointed to replace industry stalwart Bill Shannon last April.
But less than a year later, a stock market update from LSL has revealed that Barral has left the board “with immediate effect.”
No further reason has been given for his departure.
Darrell Evans, independent non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee, will assume the role while LSL searches for a new chairman.
LSL declined to comment further.
Barral was previously chief executive of insurer Aviva and holds other board roles.
Shannon retired from the LSL board last year.
He had completed nine years on the board at the beginning of January 2023, having joined in January 2014 and was chairman since April 2021.e has been in the role of chair since April 2021.
