The search for the very best of the property industry is officially on for The Midlands PROPS Awards 2024.
The awards is a midlands-focused version of the oldest and most popular London PROPS Awards - while raising funds to support disabled, and disadvantaged children and young people across the region.
Taking place at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham on 16 May, the event will offer a chance for the Midlands property industry to celebrate the sector’s outstanding achievements and successes.
Nominations can now be made via the Variety website, with categories such as the Rising Star, Building of the Year, and Law Firm Award up for grabs.
Last year’s recipients of the PROPS Awards included companies and individuals such as St Modwen Logistics, Paradise Birmingham, Court Collaboration, Avison Young, Prosperity Wealth, Frontier Development Capital and rising star Elisabeth Pywell from CBRE.
Lyn Staunton, development director for Variety, said: “We are excited to announce that nominations for the Variety Midlands PROPS Awards are now open. The Midlands has some of the very finest property companies and individuals, and we will celebrate those while raising much needed funds for disabled, and disadvantaged children and young people.
“I am eagerly anticipating this year’s shortlisted nominees and eventual winners. It is always a pleasure to witness excellence being recognised and celebrated, and I have no doubt that this year's PROPS awards ceremony will be no exception.
“Entrants can nominate their colleagues, their peers, their clients or even themselves. We would just encourage as many people as possible to get involved and help us showcase the amazing achievements of this region’s property professionals.”
Award sponsors already include: Elevate Property Group, Prosperity Wealth, Brookbanks, Bromwich Hardy and Rainier Developments Limited.
The awards still has a slot for a local business to become headline sponsor for the event.
This event aims to celebrate the property industry and help raise funds for special days out, creating unforgettable memories for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people in the Midlands.
Nominations can be made now, with the shortlist announced on 8 March.
