An Irish estate agent has come up with a solution to For Sale boards that can get damaged by bad weather.
Auctioneera Estate Agency has unveiled new solar powered illuminated real estate signage.
The Dublin-based agent said traditional corriboard signs often become shabby after a few uses, while the inclement Irish weather contributes to the wear and tear.
While traditional corriboard signs can be used many times, Auctioneera managing director Eddie O’Driscoll, said they unfortunately inevitably end up in landfill.
Instead, the fixed-fee estate agent has added the free option to their vendors of high-quality, solar-powered, and environmentally friendly signs that are designed to be reused, significantly reducing waste while also creating impact for a seller’s property.
He said: “Auctioneera has always been an environmentally conscious estate agency, and we are happy to play our part in reducing the flow of corriboard signs to landfill.
“The fact that these for sale signs illuminate during darkness hours is a big advantage for us, as it attracts more attention to the properties we have for sale. It’s an exciting innovation in showcasing a property on the market and the reaction so far has been fantastic."
The new solar-powered signs will be rolled out across all Auctioneera's properties over the coming weeks.
