Chestertons acquires James Pendleton in latest industry deal

Chestertons has continued its London expansion with the acquisition of James Pendleton.

With branches across Wandsworth, Battersea and Clapham, James Pendleton will be absorbed into Chestertons’ growing London network and will continue to offer sales and lettings agency services, property management and a team dedicated to new homes.

“Chestertons has grown to become one of the largest sales and lettings agencies in London, but while we are continually expanding our branch network through strategic acquisitions, we are also investing heavily behind-the-scenes to ensure that our clients, customers and staff get the best possible experience.”

Chestertons was bought by the Campions Group at the end of 2023 having acquired several other sales and lettings businesses over the past few years including Henry & James, Behr & Butchoff, Soames, London Residential, Morgan Randall and Snell & Snell. It quickly showed its commitment to growth under the new ownership by buying Featherstone Leigh’s lettings arm, which was integrated into the business in early 2024, and said it will continue looking for opportunities to expand its London operations.
