Knight Frank has launched a strategic partnership with a legal technology firm that aims to transform the way properties are sold.
The agency brand will work with Teal Legal, which uses automated data to build The Homeowner’s Passport.
The tool aggregates and presents upfront information on properties.
It is complied by using upfront conveyancing when a property is listed and then aggregates more than 700 data points based on Tradings Standards and Law Society requirements as well as Land Registry information automatically.
The information is integrated into the existing Knight Frank client portal ‘My Knight Frank’ and supports the data feeds for portal listings.
Sally Holdway, chief executive of Teal Legal, said: “Our latest partnership with Knight Frank represents a leap forward in the use of upfront information in property transactions.
“The Homeowner’s Passport empowers homeowners, buyers, estate agents and other key stakeholders with real-time, verified data.”
Tim Hyatt, head of residential at Knight Frank, added: “We’re excited to begin this partnership and look forward to working with Teal Legal to radically improve what is a unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating process for all parties, our customers and clients."
