Shortlists revealed for 2024 NW PROPS awards

More than 20 property organisations and professionals have been named as finalists in the upcoming 2024 Variety North West PROPs awards.

The ceremony will offer the chance for the North West’s property professionals to celebrate the sector’s outstanding achievements and successes as well as raising funds for disabled and disadvantaged children in the North West region.

The winners of six categories from Agent Of The Year to the Rising Star award will be announced during a special awards ceremony taking place at the Hilton Hotel Deansgate on 10 October. 

Last year’s awards saw £220,000 and four Sunshine Coaches raised for Variety, the Children’s Charity. 

This included donations from Home Bargains founder Tom Morris, founder of the Downing Group George Downing and chief executive of Together Marc Goldberg.

Lyn Staunton, Variety development director, said: “After an extensive and thorough process, we're delighted to reveal the official shortlist, showcasing the strongest contenders in each category. The entries we received were impressively diverse, ranging from various businesses to individuals.

“We're eagerly looking forward to unveiling the winners during what promises to be another unforgettable evening that celebrates the property industry in the North West.”

Last year in its inaugural year, the awards saw Will Ainscough of Wain Group awarded the Special Recognition Award for his outstanding contributions to the property industry, as well as Debra Cooper of Hill Dickinson who was crowned Professional Advisor of the Year.

The awards are backed by Kingmoor Park Properties and Together as headline sponsors. As well as Howden Specialty, Legacie, MCR Property Group, Shenton Group, RMG, DTRE and Renaker all showing support for this year's North West PROPs awards.

This event aims to celebrate the property industry and help fund more wheelchairs, Sunshine Coaches, days out and specialist equipment in the North-West.
