At Agents Giving, we work with estate and letting agents and suppliers across the UK to encourage, support and promote your fundraising activities.
So if you are thinking about doing something for charity, planning your next fundraising event or indeed have some ideas for supporting your local community, then Agents Giving can help you.
We often get asked by agents “What can we do to help?” A really simple way to do a good deed for charity is to take part in one of our industry-wide campaigns.
Collect up food items and donate to your local foodbank
This can be done any time of the year and foodbanks are always in desperate need of supplies. Your office can act as a collection point in your local community, you pack the food up and deliver onto your foodbank.
You could even volunteer to help sort in their warehouse or make tea for their clients.
On June 18 this year, Agents Giving Day will see agent’s offices around the country collecting food items for the biggest food collection yet, why not join in?
2019 saw nearly 22,000 items of food collected by our industry and donated onto local foodbanks.
Donate unwanted coats
Alternatively, you could donate any unwanted warm coats to a homeless charity or local shelter who will be more than happy to take them off your hands.
Get the whole office involved by bringing in their preloved coats and jackets, bag them up and donate on.
Don’t forget to take a photo of your collections to share on social media and tell us about your coat collection and chosen charity and we can share your great work.
Industry fundraising events
You could also come along to one of our events this year, we have something for everyone; a Love Mud Challenge, Golf day, Summer Ball and of course Agents Giving Day – supporting local foodbanks.
These events are a great way to be part of an organized event and help raise money for charity.
Using the grant fund
Moreover, if you would like to organise your own fundraising event then we can help with our grant fund which helps towards the set up costs of your fundraising event, so more of the money you raise goes to your chosen charity.
We can also share ideas on what to do and help to promote your event.
So, what are you waiting for? Get in touch and together we can make a real difference to our local communities and national charities.
See our website for further details.

At Chestertons, we have also worked hard to promote Payroll Giving internally and now have nearly half of all of our staff giving to a charity of their choice every month. We also match those donations, enabling employees to have an even greater impact. Happy to share more details if anyone else is interested!
I am running the London Marathon this year for mental health charities CALM and Child Bereavement. I also have a non profit mental health charity brand called FightTrain where all money raised is paid to the CALM charity in memory of a close friend.
