Here at Angels Media towers, we’re always keen to get the biggest names in the business on board for interviews.
And that is certainly the case for Charlie Bryant, CEO of Zoopla since 2017 and before that CEO of Hometrack. He was also previously managing director of Deutsche Bank for six years and, in total, has 29 years of experience in technology, leadership and advisory.
He also recently appeared on the Evening Standard’s ‘How to be CEO’ podcast, where he gave a great insight into everything from hybrid working to why the buying process in the UK needs to be modernised.

I recently sat down with him to chat about Zoopla’s plans for 2023, traffic over the Christmas period, why he thinks the firm is keeping momentum with Rightmove and OTM on new features, his thoughts on Boomin's collapse and whether or not there is any prospect of agency fees being frozen to help out with the cost-of-living crisis.

Before I go, a quick shout-out to Graham Norwood - our esteemed editor of Letting Agent Today and Landlord Today - who has been ranked 26th in the annual Tyto Tech 500, two places above Martin Lewis! This is a list of tech influencers that included Sir Richard Branson, Chris Whitty, Stephen Fry, Caroline Lucas and Mark Carney, so quite impressive company to keep.
This follows on from our recent award win at the Property Press Awards and me being voted as the number one influencer (at present) in Kerfuffle's list of industry influencers. All of which shows we're on the right path and doing something right.
If 21 followers/votes makes you a top influencer Nat - perhaps it is a good thing that Richard Branston who has 40 million followers is not on the Kerfuffler influencer index. (Jokes)
Zara my co-director probably has a bigger following than most CEO's out there, she gets about 6,000 hits when she posts on Linkedin (and she is a five year old cockapoo).
21, wow so many, must have doubled over night (jokes). Thanks Anthony.
Appreciate your comments as always. Just checked you profile like above.
Glad to see that you enjoy and make use of my
award winning, trade mag of the year (no less!) They must have made a mistake with the followers on that too (jokes).
It makes it all worthwhile when we have people completely engaging with our news and views as you do.
These damn influencers that represent the Angels massive, just the old hack Graham Norwood above Martin Lewis…
