Photographs of a cannabis farm have been taken down from Rightmove, after the listing was picked up by the social media fraternity.

What looked like drug-making paraphernalia had not been removed before estate agency Besley Hill took photographs, which showed a bedroom strewn with plant pots, ventilation pipes, fans, cabling and soil on the floor.

The two-bedroomed Victorian home in Bristol, on the market for £130,000, was raided by the police back in July after a tip-off.

The property was described as a “Victorian style villa in need of refurbishment” and offered with no forward chain.

One person tweeted: “Things to find on @Rightmove a cannabis farm …” before posting that the picture had been removed and that “the fixtures and fittings were the best selling point”.

Surely under Consumer Protection Regulations the agent was CORRECT to include this information?
