Tell us about Free2Convey…

Free2Convey is the UK’s first free online conveyancing portal, which uniquely provides real time access to agents - and all other parties - in a conveyancing transaction, with full chain view from instruction to post-completion. It’s free and always will be.

The chain is updated by the solicitor/conveyancer acting in each transaction who invite the agents involved to view the progress of each property chain; law firms not using the portal should contact Free2Convey for assistance in setting up a free account to facilitate your access to chain information.
 

…and Docs4Home?

Docs4Home is an online collaboration tool that enables agents and all other parties involved in a property chain to share and collaborate securely on conveyancing documentation.

Docs4Home, which launches on 1 November, fills a gap in the market for the online equivalent of getting all the parties involved in a chain around a virtual meeting room - somewhere agents, their clients and other parties may collaborate on documents in one location, where progress can be made swiftly and securely.

Agents can log into Docs4Home from anywhere in the world and create folders at the touch of a button. Conveyancing documents are then easily “dragged and dropped” into the relevant folder, eliminating the need to email or post documents back and forth between others in the chain whilst removing issues with version control. It offers two-factor authentication on every login from all parties, with all data held on UK-based datacenters
 

Do Free2Convey and Docs4Home work in tandem with each other?

Yes - Docs4Home complements the chain information that’s been created in Free2Convey but they can also be used as standalone products.
 

And plans for the future?

We’re working on a new collaborative tool as part of the evolution of Free2Convey that’s specifically designed for agents, which we’ll be releasing in the next few weeks.
