Hatched, the online agency snapped up just over a year ago by Connells in what was described as an ‘industry defining’ deal, has announced expansion plans for 2017.
Connells says that since it acquired the agency, Hatched has more than doubled its staff of “strategically-placed local property consultants across the country” its has similarly increased staffing at its headquarters.
“The company [Hatched] is placing a strong focus on its recruitment drive and urges those motivated industry professionals to get in touch if they are looking for a new and exciting venture in online estate agency” says a Connells statement.
Connells says that during 2016 Hatched “modernised its customer experience by, amongst other things, offering 24/7 accompanied and virtual viewings.
“As we ramp up our recruitment drive and expand into new regions, we are looking for tenacious and motivated estate agents across England and Wales to join us and help drive our business forward” says Adam Day, founder and director of Hatched.
“This is an opportunity for entrepreneurial individuals to have true ownership over their ‘patch’ but on an employed basis, with a basic salary and in a framework of a well-established company, enjoying all the benefits it brings like excellent training and rewards” he says.
The Jobs and Contractors section of the Hatched website says the firm employs “only brilliant people” and specifies its desire to recruit regional consultants for future offices in Norwich, Cardiff, Brighton and Newcastle, as well as part-time “brand ambassadors” across all areas of England and Wales.
The site goes on to say of possible recruits: “You must have specific experience in working at an estate agency in either sales or lettings, preferably at a senior/managerial level and ideally having run your own branch. If you also have a drive and determination to succeed, can work as part of a team or on your own initiative, are passionate about changing estate agency, then we would love to hear from you.”
